Beach and Baguettes

French Market

On Friday we headed to the other side of the city to pick up another couchsurfer to come stay with us for couple of nights. She suggested we'd go pick her up from a French Market that was in town for the weekend and so we did. We were suppose to meet Jenny around 6pm, but since she had some trouble getting there, we ended up spending most of the evening in the market.

Here's the market when we arrived and on the right you can see a funny sign we found on our way there.

And there's Kino and our lovely host Paul, both really confused about what's going on.

The market had a bunch of little stands offering different kinds of French products f.ex. Cheese, wine and crepes. Some stands were offering other products as well like table cloths and lingerie.
Here's Suski checking out how to make crepes properly!

The weather was nice and warm the whole day, so in the evening when we finally found Jenny, we all went to buy some vegan ice cream!

When the sun had set a live band started playing some smooth jazz for the audience. The band was really having their groove on!
Here's still a night time picture of the market and the cool gazebo they had in the park.

The beach
Saturday was really hot! The sun was really burning and no sign of wind anywhere. This could only mean one thing: beach day! Jenny was involved to some volunteer work so it was only the three of us.
Here's the house we are currently living in, and on the right our host Paul all ready for beeeach!

Some of the bags were a bit heavier than others, but sharing is caring, right?

This one is from Chidda, which is our nearest train station. As you may guess, the train was a bit late so we had some spear time to do all kinds of stuff..

When we got into the city we had quick search for a beachball. During the shop hopping Suski found something from her childhood, does anyone else remember these?

Boys got a bit crazy in the ball store and ended up buying all together 5 different balls. Choosing the right balls took a bit time so we missed our tram and once again we had some spear time on the tram stop:

After a 30 min trip to the Glenelg beach, the sun is still shining and Suski is super happy.
Then there is nothing more to do than lay back, relax and let the sun do its job. Don't you worry about sun screen, we put tons of it and everywhere. We even went swimming and you might think its warm but... It took a little while to get used to it. Suski continued sun bathing and the boys continued to play with their balls in the water. Few hours later: guess who got hungry again?
Subway flatbread 12inches (30cm) Italian BMT with avocado...omnomnomm..!

On our way back home we stopped by on the Rundall mall to search for some nail polish remover (u know how ladies are always in the need for something). Well, we didn't get any of that but instead we got this cool picture of "the balls of the mall"!

That's all for now. Tune in later, alligator ;)
