Exclusive Footage

Hey hey! Mates, it's been a while, so we decided to show you guys some exclusive footage aka photos that have not been shown before!

If you are hungry don't scroll down..

Fringe Festival

The Fringe festival took place in early february and lasted for a month. It's a wild time that fills the city with arts, music and good food. Surprisingly enough we were working day and night during the festival season and were bearly even able to go to see the fringe park!

Fringe brings light into the summer nights! It's a huge carnival with loads to offer! The Fringe city is filled with small pop up bars and food stands.

We came to ckeck out the Fringe city after long day at work, that's why Kino isn't looking too happy. So… somebody had to look awesome!

Melt

Melt is definitely one of the best tapas places in the whole Adelaide! The restaurant is better known as a pizza bar, but we fell in love with the amazing tapas menu that they had to offer. The list is changing daily and they have these cool "blackboards" as the tapas menu!

We decided to order a little of this and that!

Roasted salmon belly w asian salad

Roasted pork and shitake mushroom hot pot

Garlic and chilli chicken wings w kimchi

Pan fried halloumi w pickled red onions

And here's Suski enjoying her lunch!

From Orient

From Orient is an award winning modern Chinese restaurant in the city. We had walked past it many times and finally we made a reservation!

Suski isn't looking too happy yet since she was feeling quite hungry.

Here we have pork wontons. On the left hand side we have poached pork wontons with mild spicy broth and on the right two crispy ones.

Crispy quail, served with chinese style pickled salad

Scallops with preserved chilli and scallops with black bean

Lobster, with house-made XO sauce

Slow cooked duck with sichuan style preserved vegetable

The dessert was so terrible that its not worth showing instead here is a baby's sock

Saltram wine tasting @ Stag hotel

Kino's coworker Amy invited us to go with them to the Saltram wine tasting. She was telling us how great it was and how everybody was gonna be there. Great atmosphere, excellent wine, delicious food and wonderful people. What she didnt know was, she had Kino already at wine tasting.

A four course meal and with every dish a glass of wine

Duck and pistachio terrine w citrus and wild rocket salad

"Omnomnom.." Says Mr Kino

And here's our wonderful Amy explaining something that's obviously very very important!

Seared scallops w cauliflower puree, smoked pancetta and parmesan crumble

Chargrilled eye fillet w garlic infused potato puree, roasted fieldmushrooms, babyspinach and Cabernet Sauvignon jus

Selection of cheeses w plum paste, lavosh and pear

After the tasting we might have started to feel a bit little tipsy or then there was some angry kissing happening...

What made us all feel very happy was when Kino's coworker Manny won a bottle of port wine!

Suski and a pony

Here's a cute picture of Suski with a fluffy unicorn. It glows in the dark!

The Burger Theory

Adelaide is very well know for its hipster food and we think that burger theory is truly the hipster place to go to! Even Suski thinks that these burgers win McDonald's any day.

Once upon time there was a guy with a theory, he had buns, delicious meats and awesome sauces. He added them together and called it his very own burger theory.

Suski decided to go with a traditional cheeseburger w some lettuce, tomato and truck sauce.
Kino on the other hand picked the burger of the month: Spice-icle! This combination has jalapeno cream cheese, sriracha and iceberg lettuce!

As always the photo does not even begin to tell how extremely fantastic the taste of this burger is... True foodgasm!

All of these photos are from February-July, lots of more are to come, so stay tuned for the adventures of KINUSKI (eng. fudge) !

There is a time and a place.

Greetings to all our blog hungry fans or people that are bored
and just happened to click on our link.

We decided to do something different this time. We are gonna give you a little idea on what we do here in Australia. On the left you all see the day go past as Kino and on the right as Suski or you Aussies might know her better as Susan. When the pictures are in the middle thats when both of them are doing the same thing :) simple, right?

My day starts with a Nutella bread but                                    My day starts with a good breakfast   as you can see, there is no photo cause                           (today it was really good since we had     i ate the damn thing without taking a photo :P                                 some fresh berries!)

I had no idea what OOTD meant                                                                                   #OOTD ...
(If you don't know what that means --> Google it)

This is South Terrace, our home street. Surprisingly enough, we happen to walk from here every single day.

"On the Run" is a 24/7 gas station/subway 5 minutes away from our house and it is the first stop on our way to work.  Behind that is Jetts, its a GYM. Its where Suski works out and pump the iron.

"Hmmmm… chicken."                                    I have no comments for this picture what so ever.

Ah, Redbull, the source of all mightyness! Since we don't have a coffee machine available here, we get our morning coffein from this can filled with beast sweat, also known as 'taurine'.

Entering pin 3176.

After drinking the red bull, we flew to the corner of Pulteney and Pirie Street.

I did not start crying, i just said "byyyyyeeeee….."                Minutes later I turn to Pirie street
and continue my trip to work alone.

I didn't stop anywhere but i did take a picture                     My next stop is "Penfolds Office Choice"!
Don't ask me why. What do you call those?
    Snack wagon, food stands…

Ebenezer Place,                                                                      A Waitress simply can't have
where flamingos and bunnies hang out                                                         too many of these :b

Aaaaa…. The Belgian Beer Cafe                        And 2 minutes later I arrive to job number uno:
Home to hundreds of beer and amazing food                    "Pizza e Mozzarella Bar" in Pirie street,
where I work as so called "door"
(people who takes the customers in).

Who said you can't be a fancy pants and                           This is Logan, our pizza specialist.
drink beer. Count how many step it takes                                Not only is he good at what he does,
to pour a beer. It takes 9 step to pour the perfect one           he also happens to be a very funny guy!

Here is our dining area, its where                                         In Pizza e Mozzarella we have an
all the magic happens…heee hee.                                           open kitchen, so the customers can see while our chefs are cooking their food.

I didn't take any picture of my workmates, sry                     And here's my lovely boss Alex,
who for some reason calles me
"Princess Sparkles"..

Pretty much everything in the restaurant
is home cooked, and here is Tom, one of
our owners, (on the right) making pork
salsice (sausage) with one of our chefs.

Work in progress                                                            After finishing my lunch shift in Pizza,
I went to pick up mr Kino from
Belgian Beer Cafe.
Look at him working so hard <3

Across Belgian there's a coffee place called
"Nano", where one of my buddies CJ is
currently working. While waiting for the
hubby to finish I popped across the road
to see how things were. Unfortunately I
forgot to take a picture from inside, but
hey: here's the outside :D

Still working…                                                                   And now we are waiting again..
Ps. That's not a beer, it's apple juice.

Finally i got off and we went for some sushi.
it was called Kichi or something like that.
Located on Rundle street

The sushi place has pretty awesome ceiling, riiight?!

"And that guy!" Suski screamed
"Astro Boy" said Kino

Today's lunch shall be consumed in the
Botanic garden, since the weather is so lovely.

Omnom, sushi!

Yeah, what she said

iPad say…..                                                                                             Snapedy snap snap!

I am looking for those things below..

Back for the recource.

Hold this she said, you look great she said…

If Redbull ever needs a representer
or should i say ambassador
you know who to call.

Back to work

Here I am, all dressed up for work                                      And here I am, dropping Kino to work.
even made a coffee for my wifey                      As usually our dinner service starts a bit later,
so I will have some time to enjoy a nice
cup of coffee at the Belgian Beer Cafe.

And when Kino goes to the restaurant, this is all I have left.

My job number two is at Richmond Hotel                    30 minutes later I arrive to job number 2:
I only go there on Monday and Sunday                                    "Sosta Argentinian Kitchen" where I

but i don't have a picture of that either…                       work as a somewhat fine dining waitress.

Moustache. That's what we are all about!

Picking up my wifey because I usually finish first.

She is so happy to see me.

We leave from Sosta with Thu and Mark,
since Mark has offered to give us a lift home.

My hubby obligation                                   And while Kino is cooking, I take care of this.

And once again there is no picture of the final product, since we ate it all.
Around 2am we end the day and 7-8 hours later we have to start all over again.

"Money talks......" ;)
